The launch site is located directly at the Markbachjochbahn mountain station at an altitude of approximately 1,500 meters. From here, paragliders glide over alpine meadows, forests and the valley floor to the landing area in the center of Niederau.

It's also a wonderful experience for spectators – cozy alpine huts and viewpoints surround the launch site, offering excellent vantage points for watching the takeoffs.
